All Roads Lead to Czechia.

After many projects abroad, we finally had one on our “home turf.” This time, the project took place in Červená Voda. Thanks to the short travel distance compared to other countries, we were among the first participants to arrive at the accommodation. I must say, I was genuinely surprised by the quality of the place — I knew right away that this would be the perfect base for our project.

​

As time went on, more and more participants began to arrive, and we slowly started to get to know each other. Personally, I met a lot of people who had a similar vibe, so it’s no surprise that we stayed up talking till the late night.

​

On the first day of the project, we played several icebreakers such as “Mission Impossible,” which really brought the team together. In total, there were around 30 people from 5 different countries.

​

Soon, we dove into the workshops, and I really appreciated that many of them were led by professionals such as yoga class or our lector Olda, who gave us a fascinating talk about social media addiction from a psychological perspective. Thanks to him, we were able to do some inner self-evaluation.

​

Of course, there were also activities we organized ourselves, like creating videos connected to the project topic. That’s where I discovered I might have a hidden talent for movie production!

​

We also went hiking and meditated in the beautiful Czech mountains, what was amazing. Some of our brave (and slightly crazy) participants even went swimming in a lake full of frogs!

​

Day by day, we built strong connections with each other, and soon we realized that the project was coming to an end. Even though I’ve been on several projects before, it was still hard to leave. But I know I learned something about myself, made a few truly good friends, and we’ll see each other again soon.
